Is it just me, or they couldn't even maintain 30 FPS to film the trailer? And no, I'm not talking about the 24FPS movie like movement, cuz in some shots it seems even lower for some reason. Wondering if they used only a stock 3090 or what

I can't stand comments like this. They truly pic s me off. Even if he's not going to buy it he can state why. And even if he is, he could still say what pisses him off or bothers him. Honestly I was insanely disappointed by the beta. It looked pretty good but this Call of Duty Battle Zone crap was nauseating. First Battlefield I prolly wont buy. I bought BFV and have less then 100hrs in it. I have 2200 hours in BF1. Guess EA/Dice didnt learn a damn thing from BFV.

I only play BF 5 because it came free with my RTX card. Based on the performance of the Beta, I don't think ray-traced AO will really be feasible.

Hopefully they give AMD some love, and support FSR from day one. Which they may, since the consoles are AMD powered.

The fact that there is no RT on consoles says a lot… nVidia paying DICE to put in nVidia features at the last minute. I doubt there will be any FSR on consoles.

I don't think this game is anywhere near ready for release in 10 days time. Plus i think Portal will be this games saviour as the other modes aren't for me. Hopefully we'll be able to make our own fun with crazy portal battles. This game is gonna be released with a lot of issues and performance issues too. The last beta had many many bugs which we don't even know if there being addressed. 100% this game will be a mess come 12th Nov.

Even if I'd play this game, I'd definitely not turn RTX on in multiplayer. Just my opinion though. And BF singleplayer.... 😀

When even a trailer shows performance problems, in a game that releases in a couple of week, it becomes very likely the launch will be a disaster.

Not for me. BF4 had a ton of problems at launch, but it's game mechanics and maps where good. This meant the game had a ton of potencial, hampered by technical issues. BF 2042 not only has technical issues, but it's game mechanics are broken, and the map that was presented was terrible. Maybe the other maps will be better. But that still leaves a game that is much worse than BF4 at launch. And the way Dice is acting lately, it's unlikely they will hear the gamers and improve the game.

BF 2 was even worse than BF 4, but ended up in one of the best clan teamplay game ever (in my opinion, because <3 BF games)

I only played a bit of BF2. My true start was with BC2 on PC. Then I was hooked on the saga. I have over a 1000 hours in BC2, BF3 and BF4. But BF1 was such a downgrade, I only put in 600 hours. In BFV, I only put in 200-300 hours. Same for Hardline. BFV was the first BF I didn't buy at launch. And BF 2042 is going the same route. In fact, I'm not sure I will buy it at all...

Could be, but considering how underwhelming the response to BF 2042 has been, we are not the only ones. Plenty of younger people that are also disapoinetd.

Played the beta massive disappointment. With the new trailer show casing that it'll be Herofield 2042 Ops Black 3.5 once again just like BFV I won't buy it. Coming from someone who has purchased every BF game since inception other than V and has thousands and thousands of hours into the franchise they can f*** themselves. Like Suderlund said don't like it don't buy it. Ok Sir.
