Battlefield 1 System Specifications

Not sure if you're still working on it chief, but...

The Battlefield website now offers the official system requirements for Battlefield 1. These come along with a couple of videos highlighting the HUD-less interface in the upcoming World War I shooter. Here are the minimum and recommended system specifications: 2K Games has revealed the official PC requirements for Mafia III. PC gamers will need at least a modern-day quad-core CPU with 6GB of RAM, 50GB of free hard-disk space and a Radeon HD7870 or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660. You can view the full PC specs for Mafia 3 below. Also I do believe BF1's specs are a bit different, I think you've still got those from Mafia3 in there. 🙂

Min. CPU for I5-6600k or FX6350? This FX is equal to the mentioned I5? Somebody screwed up? Although it was beta, my son's over clock 3570k and GTX 970 played fine with good frame rates.

Overclocked Is the key word, they base the specs on everything stock as they should, imagine the headache of having recommended specs at overclock speeds. Saying that the games very cpu intense on huge maps my 2500k at 4.5ghz kept a pretty high frame rate 90+ but at times held back my 980ti (which is also oc'ed)

I totally understand that about the overclock. My main point was the comparison between the two minimum cpu's. The 6600k is much better then that FX 6350, yes?

Directx12 helps these 8 core amd cpus a lot although a OC'ed 6600k will kill kick its ass

I will better don't buy this game since my i5 4590 is worse than the minimum recommended CPU LoL. I plan to play it in a few years when I upgrade my rig of course.

My son fared well in BF1 beta using an i7 860 (stock 2.80ghz) and a 780Ti. But we've only just seen the one map...

Find it strange this game is DX11 etc. But Forza Apex is DX12 only. Just find it odd.

I am surprised by the minimum requirements. My son played the beta on a PC that has an i3 3220 and GTX 970 and at 1080 the game played well for a beta. Unless they are changing the entire engine between beta and release I believe that the min specs are way off.....

The minimum might be a bit overkill but i think it's to cover themself so that if someone complains then they have something to go by. I think even 2700k and faster will be able to play the game on 1080p.

Minimum cpu requirement is a little bit weird, even this 4690k at stock stomps on any fx in games.
