Witcher29 is 100% one of those scenarios. I find many, many humans have issues with a little thing called "Probability". It's completely probable that the game had and still has issues, people just do not notice them. I have a buddy that is a perfect example. I watch him play PC games sometimes with HORRIBLE absolute game breaking stutter and he doesn't care at all. Not even in the slightest. Infact he doesn't even notice. That's the problem. I don't ever trust that others can see the issues with a game that I can. I literally NEVER miss a stutter. Ever, I always catch them. Most I'd say somewhere in the area of 99% of people are not like me, they don't even notice a stutter or two and it surely doesn't break their immersion as it does for me. Even one stutter and my experience is ruined. This is how we all should be. Never going to happen as more and more peasants buy a PC and think they can talk with the big boys after a few months. It's the state of PC gaming today and it's only going to get worse.

They just might as well throw in the towel and move on. I wouldn't be surprise if they will not develop a PC version of any future Batman games moving forward. Just too much hassle that's not worth the trouble.

The end result is.No matter if it works or doesn't.Play the game, finish it but make sure you ask for your money back,else they will not learn from their mistakes and we will be getting even worse ports in the future.

First of all, he has a faster system than me. Second, I don't need to defend myself to anyone. I never talk crap, I speak truths. Yeah maybe there was an assumption or two in that post made by me but the fact remains, that game is broken and he's just plain speaking misinformation to others. Whether he recognizes this or not.

Not really. Lol. Does everyone forget that they KNOWINGLY released this game to us broken? Do you even know how messed up that is? They don't deserve to make ONE CENT off this game for PC. Sometimes the law needs to be taken into our own hands. Are we to lie down and take it dry? We have no recourse whatsoever but a refund? How about a free copy to anyone who wants your failure of a game? It doesn't deserve to be sold, it's pathetic that it's allowed to be. I don't condone this, however I wouldn't ever report anyone for doing it. Even if it was an enemy I had caught. I feel they deserve to be robbed of every last penny for this game. This. With games becoming increasingly larger in scale, and every month new hardware is released which just ads to the already millions of possible hardware combinations, it's impossible for a dev to release a game bug free. Anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy. Granted some devs do a better job than others, but there is NO game that is bug free at launch.

I'm kind of on both sides of the fence here with this one, but before I go on I do have to ask everyone to keep it civil. WB should not have released the game with this many problems. No one is forcing anyone to play the game regardless of if they bought it or not. No one is forcing anyone to get a refund or not to get a refund. If the game is plagued with problems, why would you torture yourself by playing through it with problems? I know if I tried that with any game, it would drive me insane and make me hate gaming after that lol. No game released is perfect, in fact most if not all are far from perfect and will never be perfect. But there aren't too many games that have had so many issues it had to be taken off the market to be fixed, and still is not completely fixed. The game looks fun, looks awesome. But I do not feel like I would get my money's worth on PC for it with the problems it has had.

Make sure you disable SLI (single GPU in the game profile). You should be able to run it pretty much maxed out on one GPU even at 4K with Gameworks settings on.

I agree with you here. The game should not have been released in the state it was. If it had been released in the state it is now, there would have been far fewer complaints. I'm actually surprised at how well it runs now. SLI and Crossfire are still broken...I'm wondering if the issues with physics effects syncing with the the frame timing is the core issue they are having with multi GPU setups.

If that's true then WB admitting it can't be fixed and only offering refunds on STEAM should be cause for alarm, if it's BROKE and they ADMIT IT then EVERYONE should get a refund no matter where purchased!

Cdkeys has it for about $20 right now, with the DLCs. I bought Shadows of Mordor from them without any issues. I'm tempted. I don't really mind playing at 30fps and my monitor is just 1080. And I like the other games in the series. But I'm not sure I can deal with stuttering. But even $20 for a broken game is $20 wasted. I made myself feel better by pre-ordering Fallout 4.
