You're clearly not very sharp are you? Are you claiming ignorance or just sheer arrogance? This game was pulled from shelves when it first came out. Yes, they did that because everyone has ****ty PCs :knock: Anyone home? Just because something works for you, doesn't mean that hundreds, thousands if not tens of thousands have problems. But with the level of intellect you've displayed here, I wouldn't be surprised if you had the same problems and just didn't notice, or are such a fanboy idiot with a crappy PC that you don't want to admit you had problems (nor a crap PC). Get your head out of the sand. I mean it's ok to be wrong, especially when you're probably used to it like you are, but make it less obvious next time? Yes. They are offering refunds because people have ****ty PCs. Who knew they'd do that?

The end result is.No matter if it works or doesn't.Play the game, finish it but make sure you ask for your money back,else they will not learn from their mistakes and we will be getting even worse ports in the future.

I also don't have a top-tiered PC, though mine is definitely above mainstream, and the game is a stuttering mess even at 1080p. Even my G-SYNC monitor can't hide it, which points not to GPU processing issues, but game-engine problems. Glad that it's not a total mess for everybody though, maybe I'll pick this game up when it reaches end-of-life in a few years and it's on sale for $5.99, for now, my refund is pending. Got so many games in the queue that I'm not sad over this.

Normally, no. But in this special situation they have offered it. Best bet, if you can't find any reliably news on the web for it, would be to contact steam support.

I'm afraid they won't refund you any money or credit, as you didn't spend any. Those keys are from a different lot than the 'retail' ones I think.

Be warned, Steam are telling me they cannot refund by my payment method and that they can only give me a Steam Wallet Credit. Doesn't this make a mockery of giving my money back if they do so in a form that I can only spend with them?

Funny that is the first and probably the last game I pre-order. Patiently I was waiting for proper fixes, but now over 4 months later is still unplayable. I will be going over at GameStop to get my refund this week, such a shame, I am a huge fan of all the previous 3 games and was really looking forward to play this one.

why are you raging so much on that guy? he clearly said it works fine for HIM, he never said it works fine for everyone in the world. you twisted his words to fit your agenda. there are a lot of people with decent rigs (including me) for whom this game works nearly perfect, so i don't see why you have to give so much crap to guy who didn't say anything wrong. maybe you need to go outside and chill out for a bit.
