Dreamy mobo. I'll consider buying one. Using that with 32gb ddr4 installed and a couple of SSDs at redundant array of independent disks, you have a smoothly working system for at least 4 years. 😛c1: The only deterrent effect is that no powerful GPUs for decent 4K gaming are available yet. That thing with the technology you win here and there and you lose at other points. 😛uke2:

Why in world are still using PS2 is so out date legacy port that slow down your pc
I've got a PS2 Keyboard and I want to use it. Lots of mechanical keyboards are native PS2 and I do indeed want it for key rollover. Lovely motherboard!

I've got a PS2 Keyboard and I want to use it. Lots of mechanical keyboards are native PS2 and I do indeed want it for key rollover. Lovely motherboard!

This is gunna be a tricky one for me. Need a board with either a free PCIe x1 for my firewire card, or onboard firewire (for my soundcard). This might cut it, although it's a waste of an x16 slot...

And it doesn't spam the system with ISR counts, just sends a hardware interrupt. Although USB 3.0 solves this.

Why not just get a firewire to usb adapters

If recall right that was a bug in the driver do keep in mind that hardware changes faster the software dose.

Wait for the "Black Edition" guys. 😀
Black Edition normally comes around towards EOL so not really worth the wait unless your on old hardware or are getting something out of it. Only reason i went for a BE motherboard is because i have a 5ghz CPU. If it was just a normal 4.5ghz 4930k i wouldnt have bothered.

Holy plethora of ports, Batman! It might be a nice successor for my good old X58 Rampage II Extreme, but Z97 appears to be a better option for games both in terms of price and performance.

Do i see ram slots on both side of cpu? am only one that thinks that bad idea with size of CPU heatsinks these days? I stead of have one slot block we get to have more block from both sides now?
