What was the Yuan price at release of 2080 / 2080Ti ?

So clearly the whole 1400$ is out the window and we're back to 2000$? If that's the case it'll be the 3080 for me. Edit: Looks like the ASUS leaked alongside other Colorful cards which once converted to dollars end up as low as 1600$. 1400$ isn't dead just yet.

Why is pricing being spoken about here? Am i crazy? Is there something in this article i'm not seeing?

Chinese prices are useless. 2080 Ti also cost about 50% more in China than it did in the west on launch, more or less, as far as I recall. Pay no mind to it.

Who cares about if its $1400 or 2000? Both are insane and anyone buying those is just retard as well.

why does those videocard fans use airflow-fin design rather than static pressure fin ? static pressure usuallly have less but larger fins and airflow use more but smaller fins the angle of the fins also matter but it's an easy way to know what's what, I hope it's not a style-only choice

No offense but some people simply have disposable income and $2000 is worth about as much as $600 to you. Doesn't make them 'retard'.

Does anyone else see "3080 TI" in that bottom photo in the bottom left as well?
Yeah but that picture is from back in July.. if its even a real picture it was probably before any of the naming schemes were locked in.

Ahhhhhhh ok ok gotcha! Thanks @Denial good to know 😎 EDIT: would be interesting if we had a 3080 TI though tbh but I have a feeling it would have leaked by now that I think twice about it
Given the gap between the 3090 and 3080 specs, especially VRAM, I'm almost positive a 3080Ti is going to come. They are probably waiting to see where AMD's top chip falls within their lineup, then they'll slot it in.. by then they'll have chips that can't quite make 3090s that they can use.

At those prices I'm holding for AMD this go around. Plus my 1080TI is still chugging to this day

The part about the failed 3090s makes sense, we've had this happen before in previous generations. In that sense - I think I'll definitely wait a while for something like a 3080 ti

More likely 3090 replaced 3080ti and it is not TITAN, so, most people should wait for 3080 Super. 😉

My wallet still has PTSD from 2080-ti 2 years ago.

Well, many people are veterans by now, gave a real war for the leather jacket of honor.

I hope more photos emerge because I am curious to see what connector that AIB partners chose to go with considering they have a choice to use the 2 or 3 8 pin for higher end cards or 1 12 pin.
