Whatever happened to the reasonable days of GPUs having 150 W TDP and double-slot coolers?

This is one hell of a beautiful card. Almost like a modern piece of art. I would consider a card like this if i wasnt watercooling everything 😉

Personally, i like it, a lot. But i´m biased because i´m a Noctua fan and i don´t mind the brown colors. In a certain way it has become a trademark of Noctua, so no problem.

3 slots is a concern if you're either using ITX or intend to use your other PCIe slots for something other than a GPU.
It is NOT 3 slots it is 4 slots used !!! ... Make mesurement with the bracket wich is 2 slot. You mean in DTX For ITX it is only single slot solution, for DTX it is double slot, both ITX and DTX with a 17cm lengh. MSI have an 3070 solution for that size, but not in every country (it's the same that they use in their top expensive barebone). And on red side Sapphire and Powercolor generaly do middle segment in that size too

Well, if you're going to get pedantic and nitpicky, DTX is a motherboard standard (as opposed to a chassis standard) and only mini-DTX is 17cm; regular DTX is 24.4cm. Actual [mini-]DTX motherboards are rare, and most chassis compatible with it are advertised only as ITX. Many cases with 2 slots actually don't have room to fit a full DTX motherboard in them, but they provide 2 slots because most GPUs use 2.

Finally.

Some believe RGB leds will give you good cooling. I believe beefy Noctua fans will do it better.
All we need is 50 shades of brown 😀

strange that there's hardly any talk about the 1138$ price tag. are we supposed to just accept it now?
Yes and you will like. We are all so broken by the shortage price isn't even something we talk about when discussing GPU's.

Couldnt care less what color it is as long as it does the job. Not sure what potential scenario brown fans on a GPU pose for the user. I mean does the user think "I hope my friend doesnt peek inside my case and see those brown fans, or I will be screwed and humiliated as a feces loving gamer"?

Yeah its weird to me. Like are people trying to make babies with their computer parts?

BLEH!:

Plenty of 2 slot GPUs around, and they're hot and noisy af ^^

Of course not... I can affort some units at that price, but i would not pay that much for a top-medium class GPU. This price doesn't reflect my idea of it's valor, it's a no go for me (and there is plenty of 2 nd hand for half that price, wich doesn't help too). But i really love that card's look.

It looks pretty sick......nice one 🙂

Would buy a top end model with Noctua cooling in about 1 microsecond (unless its overpriced).
