Zhaoxin CPUs are still in comparison to what Intel and amd offers very weak , that said most likely they will be fine for a lot of the infrastructure and absolutely fine with workstation stuff office + mailclient & WebApps . If anything seems that china trying to rush and be able to use domesticated produced chips for everything and they are getting close .

China making CPUs and GPUs will make them independent and not rely on US chips anymore. Good for them.
