Where's Marty and Doc? The date on the 3Dmark run is days into the future!:) Anyhow, I'll throw this out there as a comparison with my 6850K @4.5 specs listed Physics Score 20111 http://www.3dmark.com/fs/11057804
Interesting, 3dmark likes broadwell. What cache freq? Didn't personally test it but 5930k @ 4.9 only scores 19500~

Link not for Intel fanboys! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1235448393218270&id=343018322461286&fs=5
Dude, people will buy whichever processor is faster. Its not fanboyism that majority of peeps have Intel. In 2004-5 majority here were on AMD, because (duh) it was better, faster. You know the story from 2006 on. When AMD regains performance crown, majority will switch back to it. No need to dumb things down by claiming fanboyism. :wanker:

Yes most consumers buy based on price/performance. Which AMD has lacking for a while until now. Most of his posts seem fanboyish to me..

Ok, we have already a lot of benchmarks with Ryzen, with both single and multi thread scores. First impression: Ryzen have a bit more IPC than broadwell, r7 1800x is able to outperform fastest intel 8 core desktop 6900k. BUT, seems Ryzen have a slightly shorter pipeline, that means higher IPC has as drawback, lower max frequency. Ryzen is not able to reach high frequency as Intel does. What a beautiful times, Intel with higher clock will try to match lower clocked ryzens for thr same IPC
