i used the stock heatsink of my 6300 on a amd x2 4400+ lol keeps that cool at least

That stock 8350 cooler is just a demon spawn! Thankfully i'm using a Mugen 4 PCGH edition and never looking back. The silence. :banana: I think the TDP will be the same, around the 200's? If so, why releasing this again?

They need to quit doing that, FX9000 were poor by all means. they can't match intel performance so they should focus on being effective at ratio, not to release nuclear plant.

The thing I am curious about is how well the liquid cooler bundled with the fx 9590 compares to liquid coolers that are out there now. I'm thinking the liquid cooler that is coming with this setup is at least a dual 120mm rad at min.

I knew but i7-2600K, i7-3770K... are still faster than AMD FX9590 because the fault is each module (=each thread or core) inefficient on AMD. :P

Only intel can beat their own creation, Intel Core series are perfect in every terms, the only advantage amd have is APU, graphic wise amd is light years above intel, but intel closing the gap... This cpu won't be worth even at 150$, outrageous!

A64 before C2D was their only good cpu that was worth it, heck i remember the days where Athlon64 4000+ ruled and show everyone how bad Pentium 4 was... how things changed.

That was 10 years ago and AMD still cant make a chip that will even remind us of those days.

Right and what would you have done differently at the current state? AMD are focusing on other technologie. They have made efforts else where like with Mantle, HSA and their APUs. They working on x64 ARM CPUs also and most importantly they are doing all this with a budget that is about a 10th of Intel's. In any case whoever believes that today's CPUs are slow one could always upgrade to LGA2011 and be done with it.

They doing well within their budget, not all decisions were wise i agree with you, but still this FX is big mistake, they on tight budget that get shrinker each time and they release a fail? there are no one here to blame but themselves. I left AMD in 2012 when i sold the phenom, never looked back never will. i will buy only intel cpu since they are the best, unless something gonna change it and if it will, the FX is NOT.
