wow, you can dissipate 100W (just saying) with that small heat spreader? i love the design again jaja

This looks neat!

IF this is a full fat Vega 64 that can still OC, then that is something special. 😀

Probably is already downclocked like the Fury Nano... but for people running small form factors it again may be the best performing card of it's size.

That's a nice looking card

It's like a little baby!

I have a feeling this will probably be one of the best-selling Vegas, if its performance keeps up. The other Vegas aren't quite good enough to justify a purchase, but this GPU has a distinct edge, in the same way the Fury Nano did. I remember seeing a build from Linus Tech Tips where they had to use the Fury Nanos (7 of them, IIRC) because it was the only GPU powerful enough for their needs that would fit in the rig they were assembling.

Maybe not. I know there are quite a few "ITX" 1080's and this dandy as well.

I wonder how it will compare to this gem 🙂

Nano is the best Performance per Watt AMD card, runs At low clocks most of time but turbo like the R9 Fury X, if Nano VEGA gets 185w and outperforms GTX 1070 will be a win

Hell even the 980 at the time was better perf/W.

Sorry but that is factually incorrect the 1080 it the perf/W champ.

There is no such thing as free lunch.
If it turbos, it pays the power price.
I like Nano concept, but I'm not fan of being this firmly TDP limited. Because it leads to perf. bumps and drops depending on the particular game/settings power consumption.
See what im talking about, 18% delta between highest and lowest clocks. That is huge.

RX Vega Nano will have Vega 64 power but running on Vega 56 clock speed (Effective Memory Clock 1600 Mbps) vs 1888Mbps on Vega 64 Reference

Does anyone else find it a bit weird that they use a crappy blower on the larger cards and a bigger open-air fan design on the Nano? I get that the Nano will need more intensive cooling, but wouldn't a larger case benefit more from the open-air approach? And is there a net benefit/cost to cooling in using an open-air cooler in a small case?
xlau
It's too small.
