Next in line today is ASRock who outs two X399 motherboards, the Fatal1ty X399 Professional Gaming and X399 Taichi. The Socket TR4 and X399 chipset based motherboards will become abailable early August.
Gigabyte today added the Ryzen Threadripper compatible X399 AORUS Gaming 7 to their motherboard line-up. The AORUS Gaming 7 is the flagship motherboard from them.
Samsung outs their ultra-wide 49-inch screen (3840 X 1080), which comes with a 32:9 aspect ratio and a massive 1800R curved wide diagonal panel. The screen specs are not bad really, but my man, look at some photos first I'd say.

1080p monitors are still going strong. iiyama outs their new G-Master GB2488HSU-3 24-Inch Full HD Gaming FreeSYnc Monitor. The 24-inch TN LED-backlight gaming monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 144Hz refresh rate.

Check this, we're going back to the stone age :) graphic artist Rense de Boer, who worked as a technical art director at Battlefield developer DICE for several years, used two GeForce 1080 Ti cards to explore the boundaries of real-time rendering. The content in this video is running real time in 4K. The frame rate depends on the use of settings and with some optimization can run very fast on a single Titan or 1080TI (around 45 or perhaps I can hit 60). In SLI it is no problems to hit 60, so is playing it HD on regular cards. I am making use of Unreal engine and Nvidia's VXGI solution for real time lighting and global illumination.

Small and smaller, over at the Capsaicin event there was a bit of surprise being shown. AMD today announced the Vega 56 and 64 graphics cards, but is also working on a smaller Mini ITX version.

So two days ago long time forum member contacted me, his buddy has been working for a long time on a GTA-V mod, and was asking if we could show a new trailer. Lets spill the beans, it's IceVIP and he made a video and guys, check this mod and trailer.
A friend of IceVIP called "Razed" did the mod for GTA V, since then he's been working on it and has spent over 1200 Hours in gta making it better and better. Right now it has reached a point where its bashing on other graphics mods and now there's a trailer for it.
Yesterday a new slide surfaced on the web, detailing the entire Core X lineup from Intel, the interesting thing here is that the specs shown include the full line-up, up-to the 14, 16 and 18-core parts.
