Yesterday AMD released their Radeon Crimson ReLive Edition Driver v17.7.2 (download), and some of you have asked me if I know where the Windows 8.1 drivers are. That indeed is a fair question, as they are missing. 

You guys have seen X399 (Ryzen Threadripper) motherboards from names like ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI. ASRock was still missing in that list. However details and some photos surfaced on the web showing the new X399 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming and X399 Taichi.

We talked about the Stream 3 from ID-Cooling recently, well meet the Stream 4. ID Cooling is releasing another Stream series open frame chassis, this time for Mini ITX builder. Interesting though is that this one has a VESA mount for monitors.

ASUS has added their PH-GTX1060-3G, a 3GB GeForce GTX 1060 that fits a Mini-ITX form factor. The card is 18.3 cm in length and can be used in very compact builds.

Activision outs a new trailer for the upcoming first-person-shooter by Bungie, Destiny 2. The trailer showcases one of the pre-order bonuses of the game, the Coldheart Exotic Trace Rifle.

AMD just released Radeon Software Crimson ReLive 17.7.2. The new drivers have gotten an extensive update with new features like Enhanced Sync, we wrote a small article highlighting some of these new options right here.

Earlier on there was this rumor that Threadripper processors will be optionally bundled with an LCS kit. These are many core processors and will require proper cooling to be able to deal with the TDP and heat of course. The answer seems to be more nuanced, the kits will be shipped with an Asetek LCS mounting kit.

Corsair announced today that EagleTree Capital reached a definitive agreement in partnership with current management to acquire a majority stake in CORSAIR from Francisco Partners and several minority shareholders.

Most AMD Threadripper board partners have already shown their X399 motherboards a bit to the public, MSI however has not.  MSI presented X399 GAMING PRO CARBON AC motherboard.
