Earlier on there was this rumor that Threadripper processors will be optionally bundled with an LCS kit. These are many core processors and will require proper cooling to be able to deal with the TDP and heat of course. The answer seems to be more nuanced, the kits will be shipped with an Asetek LCS mounting kit.
