Nice. But i still think AMD priced the new CPUs a little higher than they should but i´m hopeful they will correct the pricing "issue" with the non XT parts later.

I game in 4K and with Ryzen 3600 GPU Usage is in a lot of games under 99%.

How far AM5 off though? pretty sure Zen3+ refresh will come next year on 5nm?

If a 5600X didn't beat a 10600K, I'd be very disappointed in AMD.

If true this is no too surprising to me because AMD is really making a huge push. At some point down the road I may upgrade to whatever 12c/24T AM4 chip that AMD has whether it be the 3900X or the 5900X. Even with slightly older titles 6c/12t is more than enough for most people. Granted if you are livestreaming or doing video editing then you may need more cores than 6. Also another thing about the 5800X that is new vs the 3700X is that AMD is not offering a cooler this time around which means new customers who had Intel prior or an AM3+ AMD CPU (if their cooler is not compatible) will have to purchase a CPU cooler along with it who want a 5800x. Granted the 3900x/5900x did the same thing. So in my mind this makes the 5600x a bit more enticing for new customers who don't want to get an aftermarket CPU cooler right away.
I agree that the 8core Zen3 is very odd in terms of price and bang for the buck. I remember with Zen2's launch that quite a few tech YouTubers said to avoid the 3700X and they would recommend the 3600 instead because of value for performance. Now fast forward to lateral part of the Zen2's life cycle that a few tech YouTubers are now recommending the 3700X now. Now with Zen3 I have seen several Tech YouTubers' videos on Zen3 and they are recommending the 5600X or the 5900x over the 5800X. Maybe if AMD made the 5800X a 10c/20t Chip then it might be worth the money but then again there is the 5900X.

i don't know games using more than 16 threads 😱
If i'm upgrading a good part of it would be faster compiling of large projects anyway (unreal engine 4 mainly)
