Dunk as always! The correct Windows Driver Store Version is 31.0.24027.1012. 😀 https://i.ibb.co/xJwjZH2/ezgif-com-resize.gif

As expected, HW cursor + vsync stutter still there. But at least someone called René now can gather call those shiny shaderses. Like if you don't have other issues with that name. :D

They did not fix hell divers 2 They did fix RGB laser show bug in Dying light 2 Wow launches in 5 seconds first time much better. Radeon Boost is still broken on Dying light 2 if the high quality preset is chosen bassicly with RT off it freezes while aiming, for some reason not an issue on high quality RT preset might be to much framerate for Radeon Boost to handle perhaps, but at such framerates you do not really need Radeon Boost anyway. Will update post in a bit with a video of the bug Radeon boost bug only on dx11 without RT [youtube=qDVC3ipX_QM] Again works fine on dx12 with RT on Edit: footage with high quality RT preset + radeon Boost + AFMF no issues no more RGB laser show. It's version of Pre-RDNA Driver 24.3.1
But 23.40.27.01 is not. They should use the correct corresponding numbers.

Yeah new background. Does a short shader compile in Tomb Raider, Witchfire and WoW i just tried first time when you start a game. Works fine and smooth after. One thing i noticed when you want to enable AFMF it sais its not compatible then you restart the game and it works fine. Idk why it always does that since preview driver.

Some games are not being detected automatically by the driver during installation. I should add them manually and then the Metrics Overlay shows the API correctly. Maybe it affects AFMF too.

Does that driver support SM6.8, Work Graphs and all that guff?

GPU-Z is useless. Direct3D 12 feature checker by DmitryKo shows the correct version.

RDNA 2 will not receive SM 6.8 support; it is tied to an architectural level similar to DX12 Ultimate support. The maximum memory tuning limit may be incorrectly reported on AMD Radeon™ RX 7900 GRE graphics products. Does anyone have a GRE to see what the new max vram clock is?

Tested out my bugs. None was fixed. Except Dying Light 2 RGB lightning for which main credit goes to Cp0, i only made well formed report. Not that expected state to change for many of them, but i hoped so for at least 2 of them. Probably reason is that 24.3.1 still uses AMF Runtime 1.4.33 and not 1.4.34. Welp. Time to wait for 24.4.1.

But this is when Agility SDK is being used. Current Canary build of Win11 has just SM 6.7 built-in support. This driver doesn't support WDDM 3.2. SM 6.8 is being utilised just by programs that are compiled with SM 6.8 support (with Agility).

Did you check how Radeon Boost behaves with both RT on and RT off on high quality preset for example ? on high quality preset moving mouse screen freezes until i stop moving mouse. with high quality RT preset RT all maxed out no issues. This is where i wish AMD asistant would detect that i run game in dx11 and disable Radeon Boost as it is really not needed anymore anyway.

Tbh no, i never use Radeon Boost. And it won't properly work for me, as i am pleb 1080p gamer. Moreover, i don't play Dying Light 2 either, i only reported lightning bug, because it didn't require for me to actually play game after i found save file (and yes, i sent AMD said save file with character literally standing in front of the door which was quest beginning) But i would assume that Boost may not work nice with RT. Also you can just disable it for Dying Light specifically. By default it is not enabled, but by creating custom global profile you force it on every game with default preset. So you may want to set it to custom here and there. If you can provide fast and easy reproduction steps, i may try to help you out.

You should not wait but try the last UWP driver from 24.10.xxx branch. It has AMF 1.4.34 and plays your corrupted video files without a driver crash. 😎

Can make game much more playable actually with RT maxed out around that time i started discovering the Radeon Boost bug, cos it was not just purple coruption perhaps its different per gpu, but what it does is make the lights really masive and it stays like this on 24.2.1 tho it partially changed it made the lights very big but only when moving your mouse, and when standing still the ground looked corrupt as well but i believe that was only during the day with RT on or off i think.
