Very interesting. Lets hope this is successful. The CPU cooler looks good. Makes me wonder what kind of Overclock would would get out of this cooler. I don't think that AMD is going back to the technology that the current FX series chips are based on. I think AMD has learned their lesson with that. To me this AMD's chance to strike.

I was referring mostly to the design, since it didn't exactly work the first time around. One's hoping tho. Well, if at first you don't succeed, try again. How's the saying goes? 2nd time's a charm, right?. Or that was the 3rd? 😀

It's incredible that this thing has LED lights. it can only lead to rising costs

You can even say that 2nd time was piledriver based APUs, so it may be considered 3rd time this round. But in APU design it was not that bad, as APUs are meant for something else than "High-end" CPUs are. And currently I think APUs are just fine, but boost will be welcome. Especially in power efficiency for notebooks.

Well, it settle then since its the 3rd! Let's hope ZEN kicks some proverbial a**! And I agree, AMD cpu's are not bad at all. On the contrary, they are quite good depending on the usage. :thumbup:
