Tiled Resources uses DirectX 11.2 I believe (Although split into two feature levels depending on hardware support.) so unless Microsoft ports DirectX 11.1 and 11.2 over to Windows 7 it's unlikely to work. 🙂 (Some 11.1 functionality was added with the update of Internet Explorer but I believe you still can't use 11.1 on W7 outside of that.) Still even so it'll be a while before developers start making use of this feature, could take years or it might never be adapted. (I guess it depends a bit on AMD and Nvidia as well, both seem to have their own means to do tiled resources.)

I think I can make out some of the titles they claim to get better performance of, and I've noted them down in an image which I can't post because my post count is below 10 -_- Regardless, the ones I can make out are 1 - Far Cry 3, 3 - Metro 2034, 5 - Sleeping Dogs, 6 - Civ 5, 8 - Sniper Elite 2, 12 - Borderlands 2, 14 - Hitman Absolution and 16 - TW: Rome 2. Can anyone tell what the missing ones are?

I`ll wait to see the verdict on Mantle before thinking about selling and swapping again, I've a feeling it will be lots of talk and not much action for quite a while, no point changing hardware just for 1 or 2 games

Go look at the video from AMD's CES press conference. They actually show the gains they're getting. We're not going to see a solid 40% gain. There will be instances where the gains are lower and higher. We should be seeing gains of up to 50% with the reduced overhead and increase draw call allowance.
