Any sites with BIOS downloads for the new 7000 series chipsets. I remember a site for AM4 that listed all the new stuff but can't find one for AM5?

https://www.overclock.net/threads/asus-rog-crosshair-x670e-overclocking-discussion-thread.1799959/page-304#post-29215084 On that thread there is new bios for Asus boards. Good luck , have fun amigo 🙂 , also if you search at ocn under amd motherboards , there are threads with support for Asus , gigabyte , asrock ,msi. I hope this helps.

Still no new bios for asus b650.

Cool stuff, now we need to see how the performance scales.

Hmmm I wonder if they are going to bring this to the Aorus X670E which would mean I can run my 7600Mhz GSkill on it.

Hilbert, we need to see AM5 vs Z790 DDR5-8000 Battle!

Hope it's better than 1.0.0.7a Patch A cos that one causes lots of BSOD for me

It will be interesting to see how well the 7600Mhz DDR5 GSKill XMP kit runs, I was tightening the timings on it and had it at 30-36-36-76 @ 6200Mhz 1.28v vddq 1.18vdd 1.25 vsoc before .7A nerfed it down to same timings but only at 6000.

Undying:

Still no new bios for asus b650.
That is assuming that it will be available for the b650, so far I have only seen mention of X670E or are you meaning that there is no new BIOS for the ASIS B650 as just a general bios related comment? I mean they say "other" but is this to the AM5 platform in general or the X670E AM5 specifically?

In my case the .7a seemed to nobble a lot. Looking forward to getting beyond it.

Voltage for what? SoC? If it's for SoC, 1.4v is too much.

So, i`ve bought 32 gb of RAM running at 6000Mhz because it was the optimal seepd for AM5 and because the boards/CPUs couldn`t reach much higher speeds than 6400Mhz and now suddenly a new firmware enables speeds ip to 8000Mhz!... Now i`m wondering if i made a good choice regarding my RAM purchase...

I too bough 32GB 6000 sticks, If yours are 30 40 40 96 or something close to that it is probably A die anyway, so they would be able to run 7000 or 8000 but at looser timings, so they would not be one setting XMP/EXPO and go, but just as capable if you get the timings right. You could also just run them 6200-6400 and keep the same timing and 1:1 clocks if they are able to do that. My 2 month old G-skill sadly does not have 100% contact between the memory modules and the heatspreader, air is visible between the chips and the thermal transfer tape, so my temps are mid 60 degrees at rated speeds already. G-skill will not RMA them if they run rated speeds, so I may not be able to run mine higher then 6000 anyway unless I disassemble my new modules and replace the tape with something else.
