"Laughs in AMD" "gets a Black screen" Jokes aside, great news for AMD. AMD right now is like Macedonian army pushing on the big and mighty Achaemenid Empire. Let's see if history will repeat itself in this case.

why buy a 3600 when you dont need it? not everyone is running skynet or cares about frame rates, 2c/4t and 4c/4t is enough for some people, g5420 is 56quid, 3600 155. you can get a pentium board and ram(4gb - 8gb) for the price of the 3600 alone.
There are same price ranges for amd too. and 2/4 or 4/4 with embedded video card. So my question comes back to the beef. Usually you use beef vs pork form something that is higher quality and more premium. But this does not make sense for i3 and pentiums imho.

AMD is killing it in pretty much every price range right now. Even considering that, 86% still seems really high. Good for consumers and AMD.

been using CCL for a few years and unlike scan they only list what is availible, scan keep posting what is never availible, they just say "overdue since", no SS. i look at scan 1st to see whats availible and the price, then i go to ccl, depends if i need stuff that either doesnt have, ccl do have a post office delivery option that works out cheaper for small items 🙂

I think when my Mobo or CPU goes kaput i will move over to AMD simply because they seem to be offering bang for buck at present, i mean i bought my present mobo/cpu/memory combo back in 2014 for £315, but i doubt i could get such great bang for buck today from intel.

Heard the recent driver release has fixed issues. Looks like they're hard at work fixing things, good!

Yeah I got my 3900X from CCL... last September when it could not be gotten anywhere... Scan was still saying "coming soon" or something for months after that!

Scan lie anyway, they'll say they have stock but they don't and wont have stock until they have a minimum amount of orders for products. Only thing I find bad about CCL is that they're not the most competitive when it comes to prices for GPUs, found overclockers.co.uk to be best for GPUs.

Indeed, they are - after some, well deserved, roasting from various industry and tech experts. Personally, I had only 1 black screen, and recent drivers are performing well. Overall I'm very satisfied with my experience with (currently) full Red team rig.

So there is something wrong in germany. Either people only working with their PC-s or they getting mad.

Recently i had an R5 2600. 3 of my games had issue. One of them didint even launch. Amd having problems with their GPU-s as well. If we talking about gaming they much expensive than Intel. Something really wrong here with the people.

I would definitely consider Big Navi if it performs well, has decent drivers and no thermal problems (like that thing with the ASUS card).

I didn´t expect such an advantage for AMD but one thing is for sure, it´s hard to consider an Intel desktop CPU now.

86% of instability on my full AMD computer is caused by me 😳 Most of the time, messing with Windows isn't a problem until the next update... Been an enthusiast isn't been immune *cof, cof*

Sorry to hear about your issues my dude! Didn't you forget to install chipset drivers or apply holy water on your rig?

(...) Competition is a good thing whether you are an Intel of AMD fanboy. Imagine how expensive the 10k lineup from Intel would have been unless Zen was launched.
I bet without AMD, the Intel's 10k series would be 4c8t as usual. Who needs more for gaming, right? Right? 😉

Holy water definitely helps. After its application I received an extra 100mhz boost and 1 extra core! Incredible value!

No surprise at all. I build a R5 3600 on October and paired it with an 1660 Gaming X and 16GB DDR4 3200 b-Die... I am very pleased with the entire performance system, and paid a great price. It´s running all cores at 4.2ghz and GPU at @2050... run any game at 1080p maxed out with no problems... Only dumb to buy any Intel CPU at this moment... will take years to Intel pair the market again... years... probably at 2114+... LOL
