This is probably a spatial upscaler, like DLSS1, NIS or FSR1. So it's probably going to look like crap.

Wht about working on a core manager that can understand the cpu cores and boost speed, or harden security, or revisit old code for performance rather than this crap

Really sounds like some DLSS 1 option in Windows. And DLSS 1 was a joke already five years ago. 😕

If this is going to be anything like the AutoHDR feature, better stick with the vendor specific solutions.

Kinda interesting, since it might just obsolete FSR and XeSS, at least for their upscaling features.

Wouldn't it be nice if DLSS-like upscaling was part of DX or Vulkan and GPUs would then support that in whatever way is appropriate for them? Same for frame generation.

Had to try it out and got as far as this ,pretty much useless for me as I like HDR on all the time.

StartAllBack is my favorite. Works great--he even updates for Windows 11 Insider versions, which is my default OS these days, usually within a day. Best $5 I ever spent...;) It's not intrusive, installs and uninstalls in seconds. I've been using it for quite a while. Recommended.
