Corsair announced the launch of their new power supply unit, the "X1500i ATX 3.0 (model number: CP-9020261). This power supply unit has obtained the 80PLUS PLATINUM certification and is capable of delivering 1,500W of power.

It is compatible with ATX3.0 and PCIe5.0 standards. The market price for this unit is expected to be $399 and it will be available for purchase starting from July 8th. The HX1500i ATX 3.0 power supply unit requires a power outlet with a voltage of at least 115V to deliver its maximum output of 1,500W. It is the successor to the previously reviewed "HX1500i 2022" model and features a digital design compliant with Intel ATX3.0 and support for PCIe Express 5.0. The package includes a 12VHPWR cable as a standard accessory.

With a 140mm fluid dynamic bearing fan, the HX1500i ATX 3.0 power supply unit offers a semi-fanless feature called "Zero RPM Fan Mode," which stops the fan rotation during low-load conditions. It is equipped with Japanese-made capacitors rated at 105℃ and follows a fully modular design, allowing all cables to be detached.

The +12V rail of the HX1500i ATX 3.0 power supply unit utilizes a single-lane configuration with a maximum output of 125A. It has dimensions of approximately 150mm in width, 200mm in depth, and 86mm in height, weighing about 2.4kg. The product comes with a 10-year warranty. It's important to note that the maximum output of 1,500W can only be achieved when powered by a socket with a voltage of 115V or higher, whereas a standard 100V household socket limits the output to 1,200W.
