Acer Unveils 3 Models of Curved NITRO Gaming LCD with 1500R VA Panel Curvature

In a recent announcement, Acer unveiled a lineup of three curved gaming liquid crystal displays featuring VA panels with a curvature of 1500R.



All three models are equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium support, along with the "Visual Response Boost function" that minimizes image blur and "HDR10" for enhanced contrast between bright and dark areas. Additionally, these displays offer improved visibility in dark scenes, thanks to an 11-level "black boost" adjustment feature and eight video modes.

The first model, known as the "ED320QRS3bmiipx," is a 31.5-inch full HD liquid crystal display. Its key specifications include a color display of approximately 16.7 million colors, 72% NTSC color reproducibility, a brightness of 250cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 3,000:1, a refresh rate of 165Hz, a response time of 1ms, and a wide horizontal/vertical viewing angle of 178°. The interface options consist of HDMI 2.0 x 2 and DisplayPort 1.4 x 1, while the speaker output is 2W x 2. The physical dimensions of the display are 709mm in width, 198mm in depth, and 514.8mm in height, with a weight of approximately 4.8kg.

The second model, named the "ED270UP2bmiipx," is a 27-inch WQHD liquid crystal display. Similar to the previous model, it boasts a color display of around 16.7 million colors, 72% NTSC color reproducibility, a brightness of 250cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 4,000:1, a refresh rate of 170Hz, a response time of 1ms, and a wide horizontal/vertical viewing angle of 178°. The available interfaces include HDMI 2.0 x 2 and DisplayPort 1.2 x 1, with a speaker output of 2W x 2. The physical dimensions of this display are 611mm in width, 199mm in depth, and 456mm in height, weighing approximately 3.9kg.

Lastly, the "ED240QS3bmiipx" is a 23.6-inch full HD liquid crystal display. It shares similar specifications with the previous models, such as a color display of approximately 16.7 million colors, 72% NTSC color reproducibility, a brightness of 250cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 3,000:1, a refresh rate of 180Hz, a response time of 1ms, and a wide horizontal/vertical viewing angle of 178°. The available interfaces consist of HDMI 2.0 x 2 and DisplayPort 1.4 x 1, with a speaker output of 2W x 2. The physical dimensions of this display are 539.8mm in width, 203mm in depth, and 414.1mm in height, with a weight of approximately 3kg
