Elgato, a subsidiary of CORSAIR and a prominent provider of hardware and software solutions for content creators, has announced a significant update to Stream Deck Mobile, the digital version of its renowned Stream Deck.

Stream Deck Mobile is an app that transforms any smartphone into a portable productivity interface. The latest update allows iPhone and iPad users to utilize the app for free with up to six keys. Moreover, the core changes introduced in the app provide users with enhanced control over their favorite applications and customization options for their setup.

With the implementation of the "freemium" app model, Stream Deck Mobile has become more accessible to a wide range of customers worldwide. Users can now enjoy the key features of Stream Deck on their iPhones or iPads at no cost, which includes six keys, unlimited actions, and a wide selection of plugins for popular applications. For those seeking additional functionalities, a Pro subscription or purchase unlocks advanced features such as custom layouts, backgrounds, and the ability to have up to 64 keys, twice as many as Elgato's largest physical device, Stream Deck XL.

The latest update has also made Stream Deck Mobile compatible with iPadOS, enabling users to take full advantage of the device's expansive screen. Users can now run Stream Deck Mobile simultaneously with their preferred applications and websites, or even operate two Stream Deck Mobile keypads side by side, providing access to up to 128 keys concurrently (Pro subscription required).

Above all, customization lies at the core of this update. Users can effortlessly switch between dark and light modes, control keypad rotation, and explore community plugins and profiles on the Elgato Marketplace. Additionally, with Stream Deck Mobile Pro, users have the ability to modify the number and layout of their keys, along with personalizing the app's appearance by using custom faceplates or images from their camera roll.

Christiane Göhring, the Team Lead for Mobile Development at Elgato, stated, "Stream Deck encompasses far more than just a physical device. It is a powerful ecosystem that caters to millions of users across various workflows. With this update, we are thrilled to extend the same technology to the virtual realm, making it easier for anyone to streamline tasks and save time using their beloved iPhone or iPad, all at no cost."

Stream Deck Mobile is now available for download on the Apple App Store, compatible with iOS and iPadOS devices. Stream Deck Mobile Pro can be accessed through a monthly subscription ($2.99), annual subscription ($24.99), or a one-time lifetime purchase ($49.99). Prices may vary based on the region.
