Front panel control/input bay that mounts in a 5.25-inch bay All the way to your right MIDI-DIN connectors, and adapters for standard MIDI connectors are supplied as well. In top of the MIDI ports the round spot is the Infra Red receiver. The X-Fi driver has improved a little over it older design from the Live! and Audigy series.
All the way to your left, the in- and output RCA SPDIF, next to that on top the in and output optical connectors. Furthermore headphones + volume control, MIC or Line 2 inputs volume control and last but not least two auxiliary inputs.
The drive bay from behind, you connect it to the X-Fi Fatality card with the supplied flat cable. All the way to your right in white we see a 'floppy' power connector where the drive feeds from.
The kit comes with a new designed remote control which can manage certain functions like the Crystallizer, EAX, CMSS-3D, and 3DMIDI, and also playing your files, and allows essential adjustments such as volume. The cheapest model X-Fi card does not come with a remote btw.
