Graphics card performance

The game offers several quality settings and modes. At 1920x1080 even entry-level to mainstream graphics cards achieve very good frame rates at the best possible settings. Visually there is a significant difference in between the normal to the most complex mode settings. We expect you as a PC gamer to crave the best quality settings, so we test at that. Let's start with Full HD test the graphics cards based on the quality settings we've shown you. If you like to have a feeling of the atmosphere and look at our image quality settings, have a peek at the video below. This is our benchmark scene which we ran roughly 125 times for this article alone. 

 

 

D3D12: MAX Quality settings 

Framerates vary in different scenes and even the timeframe of the scene recording. This is also the reason what on one website the results are lower/higher. Benchmarks are an indication of the scene we play in. Here's what we did, basically you shift that quality preset to level to max. As you can see in Full HD, all cards are capable enough to run that 60+ FPS domain. To create a neutral playing field between AMD and NVIDIA we elected to reconfigure presets to; FidelityFX CAS Off, Anti Aliasing FXAA+TAA, VRS Balanced, and enforce Ambient Occlusion SSAO. 

 

Typically we'll perform extra tests with several quality modes and their respective performance, but with our selected and proper image quality setting, we see no reason to do so. Any graphics card will run excellent. The 60 FPS target as promised by Capcom is a sure fact. Of course, there will be differences in, house, outside, and in fights. But the generic picture here is proper performance. Oh, and yes, the Radeon RX 6800, 6800 XT and 6900 XT actually hit a big phat CPU bottleneck at 1920x1080 with our similarly phat Ryzen 9 5950X.
