Looks like its heavily favoring amd gpus but it was also the case with every RE engine game.
Nice optimization though everyone can enjoy it.

Now 3080's owners need DLSS not only for FPS boost but also for compensating for lack of VRAM (hello stutter!)

I don't want to say " Did't i tell you so " but that 8 gigs on 3070 already starting to age pretty fast ....

1650super @1080p is in wrong slot. (i think?)

Demo ran fine on my 5700XT @ 4k. Was not impressed with the Demo's reliance on Rec709 (dark and dull) or sRGB for HDR--sRGB HDR is the only mode worth using, however, it's fairly disappointing as the color appears leeched out, the frames look monochrome with only a light patina of color showing though--all of CAPCOMs games look like that in HDR--only this one does appear superior to their earlier HDR efforts. Anyway the game comes alive in SDR with lots of color and SDR does away with the monochrome look. I should say that in HDR nothing is "washed out"--everything is very sharp and clear--it's just with only those two HDR modes to choose from that neither is compelling--so I will run the game in SDR. I have a DisplayHDR 1000 monitor now, with a wide color gamut in SDR, so I feel I am seeing the best the Demo has to offer. I would guess the game would be better however, given how limited the Demo was in configuration options, along with a warning that the Demo was not the final version of the game, etc.

Ray tracing is of no importance (1070) to me but mesh shaders are. I take it the main reason the game looks and runs so well is because of mesh shaders.

6900XT is a whooping 5 times faster than RX580. That's a tremendous difference if you consider the latter being one of the most famous polaris arch and mainstream gpus also used in xbox one. Good job AMD here.

I played demo yesterday and i7 4770k - 1060 6gb - 16ram . Never dropped below 59 60 fps on any place. I hope this not change on release version.

Hilbert, those frametime graphs need a little size boost. They're too small to read which is which.
Just a suggestion

Thanks for the review awesome. Wonder if the swarm bug of the daughter vampires FPS drops got address in the game release.
I see your still using that Biased/Racist AMD Ryzen 9 5950X for reviews lol J/K at the crazy of someone comment from

Oh good so my ancient 2080 will play this at 5120x1440 at around 75fps, lovely. No need for more in a game like this anyway. This will be a decent experience. Knowing me though, I'll sh1t my pants early into the game and will never play it again.

Really good numbers for both AMD and Nvidia, despite how good the game looks. Hilbert wasn't joking when he said it's a highly optimised piece of software.

Downloading the demo now! So stoked! I'm also on a GTX 1070 (and Ryzen 7 3700X), and thought it was weird they didn't include it in the benchmarks. Ah well, it's usually (always) on par with the GTX 1660 Ti, and I play all my games @ 1440p without issue. So, we'll see...
