The mouse is based on a 16,000 DPI sensor and comes with five programmable buttons. Endgame has opted to use an ARM STM32-based chip for controls in the XM1. The surface is quite pleasing to the touch, finished in matte black with a single silver Endgame Gear logo at the rear. The Endgame XM1 is intended for both left and right-handed people. The housing is symmetrical, but the side buttons are located only on the left. The XM1 is a rather medium-sized mouse, and Endgame suggests that it should be fine for all types of grip. The quality is good, and the plastic is rigid. At the bottom, there are two medium (back) and two small (front) PTFE sliders. They are rounded and provide a smooth, medium-fast, and even glide. We were able to peel them off and stick them back on without any significant damage. There’s a small button at the bottom of the mouse allowing you to change the DPI. No weight adjustment is possible, well – that would make no sense with such type of mouse, right?
