Edifier G4 Pro Headset

Edifier is famous for a wide variety of speakers and headphones. They have an extensive portfolio of products including both budget-oriented and very high-end series. In this review, we’re checking out the all-new Edifier G4 PRO Stereo Gaming Headset. The headset is a new variant of the regular Edifier G4, the main difference being the option to change the LED lighting colour. “The G4 Pro uses virtual 7.1 channel surround sound technology to immerse you in your games. With cinema-quality sound and true-to-life surround, you’ll feel like you’re right in the thick of the action.

Utilizing a 40mm neodymium iron baron unit, the G4 offers crystal clear three-frequency sound. Enjoy vivid details and complete immersion, as sounds echo realistically around you with thumping bass.
Contoured shape with comfortable sponge covers and lightweight design. The G4 will stand up to any marathon gaming session. Enclosed on-ear design isolates you from ambient noise and ensures you can hear every footstep.
External gooseneck microphone freely stretches and shifts its angle to fit your needs. The omnidirectional mic ensures that your in-game calls will always go through clean and clear.
Personalize your gaming experience with our custom software. A download link is available at the bottom of the product page. Software is not compatible with Windows XP or MacOS.” As you can see, two colour variants are available:

  • White Pink
  • Black Gold

The Edifier G4 Pro headset has an integrated USB 7.1 surround soundcard, so it does support surround sound, but disabling this feature will make the overall sound quality better in most scenarios. The drivers used are 40 mm neodymium magnets, and the new headset is capable of a 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response. The mic is retractable and flexible. As for settings and options, you can adjust them in the dedicated Edifier software, and there’s also the Magic Voice function, which lets you use male/female/monster/cartoon voice effects.

EdifierG4 PRO Stereo Gaming Headset - features:

UNIT SIZE:

40mm

FREQUENCY RESPONSE:

20Hz~20kHz

SOUND PRESSURE LEVEL (SPL):

106±3dB

IMPEDANCE:

24Ω

CABLE LENGTH:

2.5m

INPUT TYPE:

This headset is priced at about 70 USD. It should be rather comfortable to wear and will likely provide a pleasant audio experience. Let’s move on to the next page.
