Cooler Master MasterPulse Pro RGB Headset review -
Showcase
Here we have the USB cable it's a good 2 meters, so that is more than plenty. The cable itself is really flexible rubber, not stiff or too hard. It is very more comfortable being that soft plus you get the added benefit that it prevents weird noises inside the cup. However being flat does show when it is getting all tangled up.
Attached to the cable is a nicely looking control pod that lights up when there is USB power. In here an audio card is located. You can turn on/off the MIC and control the volume of the headset as well as LED and some sound options.
From the right side the top switch enabled/mutes a MIC, the lower one switches in between normal and Virtualized sound. I wish manufacturers would drop the 7.1 channel branding, they might as well list 11.1 channels there. The reality is that this is a stereo headset with a virtualized surround layer.
When we flip it around we can see Volume and the upper one, is an EQ preset. You can choose off or three EQ presets. In here lies the problem with the headset, you cannot tweak audio to your preference aside from the three locked presets (Music/Movie/Gaming/Equalizer off).
It is a nice looking and comfortable pair of headphones set that will cover your ears, the ear-pads have soft leather like material wrapped memory foam that conforms to the contours of your head without binding or pinching.
The MasterPulse Pro Over-ear with Bass FX is your usual big headset though with circumaural ear coupling, nicely soft padded headband. The inner ear cups are very softly padded, the headset might not be light, but it is very comfortable to wear, for long periods of time as well so that weight really is not an issue.
Bass FX - removable magnetic side panels that allow you to customize your audio experience. Close the panels to increase the treble and passive noise isolation or remove them to open up sound and enhance bass tones.
Today, we are reviewing two air coolers from Cooler Master: MasterAir MA624 Stealth and MA612 Stealth ARGB. Usually, we had a chance to check the AIO solutions from them, so now it's a good opportunity to study what we can achieve more standardly. This will also be a nice occasion to present two types of cooling architecture, as the MA612 Stealth ARGB is a single-tower, and MA624 Stealth is a dual-tower
