Leaked photos show double capacity DDR4 modules

A couple of photos leaked onto the web, showing some really awkward memory modules, I say awkward as these double capacity DIMMs are memory DIMM modules that are twice as high as they stack two rows of memory chips. This new dimms would be intended for small (Mini ITX) motherboards that often only have two DIMM slots.

A topic of discussion for a while now already is that AMD would be refreshing Polaris, again. Currently, there is chatter on the web that AMD would soon release Polaris 30, that 3 being the 3rd iteration of Polaris. The new updated GPU would be fabbed at a 12nm FinFET LPP+ and is rumored to bring in another 15% performance, albeit we find this highly speculative.

CoD: Black Ops 4 Launch Gameplay Trailer

Activision has released a brand new gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 alongside the game’s launch in a few weeks on consoles and PC, with the trailer giving an overall look at the three main components of the game between its Multiplayer offerings, the Zombies mode, and the highly-anticipated Blackout mode. Blackout especially seems like it will be one of the most enticing parts of Black Ops 4‘s package heading into the holiday season, especially as it will bring the series up against some of the titans of the genre at the moment, namely Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 12th, 2018.

A handful of new AMD chipset names surfaced in USB-IF registrations. AMD denies that the entries are legitimate, but well the names are in there alright. You will notice a Z490 and X499, which have been rumored about a couple of months ago as well. A420 is also listed, the successor of A320.

HITMAN 2 Colombian jungle mission

Warner Bros showcased the new Colombian jungle environment that has been added to Hitman 2. According to the developers, this new setting will put players directly in the heart of a dark and dangerous South American rainforest, providing a vastly different canvas for Agent 47 to carry out his deadly missions. Colombia promises to feature a unique gameplay experience with multiple paths to explore, unparalleled game depth and countless interactive possibilities for players. Colombia will feature breathing jungle environment with threats lurking around every corner. Contrary to its predecessor, Hitman 2 will not come out in an episodic form and will be fully released on November 13th.
