Corsair AX760 PSU test and review

Published by Hilbert Hagedoorn 5

teaser

In this article we review the Corsair AX760 PSU. This 760 Watt Power Supply is grand in performance, the one massive 12-volts says it all really. Excellent for multi-GPU solutions and hardcore overclockers. Being the more 'regular' non AXi model these power supplies are a bit more affordable, yet remain high quality and high performance and Platinum rated. I also now have the 760W and 860W versions of the new AX power supplies (the non-digital models). These are actually based on Seasonic platforms, and so are completely different PSUs to the AXi models, though they are still 80 Plus Platinum and fully-modular. The 760W is also fanless to 70% load (the 860W to 60%) at 25C ambient, which is pretty impressive.
