CoolIT systems

Do you guys remember our review on the Peltier based coolers from CoolIT systems ? They flew in from the USA and where present at the CeBIT as well; I had a quick meeting with them. but let the photo's do the talking.

Check that out, completely water-cooled slash Peltier based cooling. It was cooling everything from A to Z. The VGA cards, north and south bridges and the CPU. Want to see the temps ?

Check that out 34 degrees C on the CPU. You can set the software at a target temperature and the peltiers will be regulated based on your preference. This system had 12 Peltiers active. It sucks up a tremendous 120 watts to cool down the entire PC under load.

As always, I like to show it all ;) I think this was the Skulltrail based system by the way.

Here you can see the Peltier unit. That's some serious cooling my friends !

Should you have missed it:

That's it for part #2 of our CeBIT 2008 coverage. Tomorrow the final part with lot's more great stuff to see and observe, and after the final coverage of course we'll look into the "babes" of the CeBIT as well.
