Thermaltake Technology, headquartered in Taiwan, unveiled the "TOUGHFAN EX Pro" on February 22, 2024. This new addition to the "TOUGHFAN" series features high static pressure fans with polymer blades, available in 120mm and 140mm sizes, exclusively in 3-piece sets. The TOUGHFAN EX Pro boasts a daisy chain compatible design, leveraging the MagForce 2.0 magnetic connector. This connector, with an enlarged contact area compared to its predecessor, ensures reliable connections and simplifies wiring, particularly when installing multiple fans.

Featuring hard liquid crystal polymer blades, the fan minimizes vibrations during operation. Moreover, it comes with a reverse blade option, enabling users to adjust airflow direction according to their requirements. Specifications for the 120mm model include a rotation speed ranging from 500 to 2,000rpm, maximum airflow of 70.8CFM (standard blade)/64.21CFM (reverse blade), maximum static pressure of 3.19mmH2O (standard blade)/2.60mmH2O (reverse blade), and a noise level of up to 22.6dBA (standard blade)/29.8dBA (reverse blade). The fan is designed for a lifespan of 40,000 hours and measures 120 x 120 x 25 mm.

For the 140mm model, specifications include a rotation speed of 500 to 2,000rpm, maximum air volume of 119.6CFM (standard blade)/102.3CFM (reverse blade), maximum static pressure of 3.57mmH2O (standard blade)/2.95mmH2O (reverse blade), and a noise level of up to 31.6dBA (standard blade)/34.1dBA (reverse blade). Like its counterpart, it offers a 40,000-hour lifespan and measures 140 x 140 x 25 mm.
