In response to demand, NVIDIA has introduced the RTX 3050 6 GB. This iteration represents a modification of the original RTX 3050, featuring 6 GB of memory accessible through a narrower 96-bit GDDR6 memory interface and a reduced number of shaders. Built upon the compact GA107 Ampere silicon architecture, it incorporates 2048 shader cores, contrasting with the 2560 present in the standard RTX 3050 configuration, designated as the GA107-325 by NVIDIA. A noteworthy characteristic of this GPU is its remarkably low typical graphics power (TGP) rating of just 70 watts, eliminating the necessity for additional power connectors on graphics cards hosting it.

NVIDIA has set the official retail release date for the RTX 3050 6 GB in February 2024, offering it at an initial price point of $179.
