MINISFORUM releases UN100L Mini PC – An Entry-Level Office Solution

The MINISFORUM UN100L, an entry-level Mini PC designed for office environments, has been released, featuring a 12th generation Intel N100 processor. Priced at $209 for the 16+512 GB version, the device aims to serve the needs of small and medium-sized businesses with text-based office tasks, and it doubles as a set-top box. Equipped with the Intel Alder Lake-N100 ultra-low power processor, the UN100L has four cores and four threads. Its TDP power consumption starts at 6 W, highlighting its energy efficiency. The turbo boost performance can reach up to 9 W, marking a 30% increase in efficiency compared to its predecessor, the N5105 generation.

The device caters to the general home use of typical users. Storage-wise, it comes with 16 GB LPDDR5-4800 memory and includes an M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 SSD. It also supports TF cards and 2.5-inch HDDs, offering notable storage expandability within its price bracket. The UN100L's design includes a built-in ultra-quiet fan, promoting a low-noise operation suitable for office environments. It is capable of running continuously to enhance work efficiency. The device also features an Intel 5G & 2.4G dual-band Wi-Fi module, ensuring a high-speed and stable wireless network connection.



To meet various office demands, the UN100L offers multiple interfaces, including two USB 3.2 and two USB 2.0 ports. It also provides HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4, and Type-C display interfaces, supporting three-screen simultaneous 4K@60 Hz output. Furthermore, it includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a DMIC stereo digital microphone interface, which supports synchronization of two microphones for simultaneous data capture.

The device's USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C interface supports a one-line connection for PD and can be attached to the back of a monitor using a VESA mount. This feature helps in reducing cable clutter and provides a neat desktop setup. Additionally, it comes equipped with a TPM 2.0 data security encryption chip, enhancing user privacy and data confidentiality in business settings.
