Micron officially unveiled the Micron 3500 NVMe SSD, harnessing the power of its 232-layer NAND technology to cater to demanding workloads across various domains, including business applications, scientific computing, cutting-edge gaming, and content creation. This advancement pushes the boundaries of performance in computing.

Available in the M.2 form factor with capacities of up to 2 TB, the Micron 3500 SSD distinguishes itself with an exceptional user experience, as evidenced by its remarkable SPECwpcsm performance, delivering up to a 71% improvement in product development applications. Prasad Alluri, Vice President and General Manager of Client Storage at Micron, emphasizes their commitment to delivering top-notch products that cater to the exacting demands of end-users. He highlights the impressive specifications, such as a substantial 132% improvement in scientific computing benchmark scores, underlining the transformative potential of the 3500 SSD in enhancing insights and fueling creativity.

In today's computing landscape, storage plays a pivotal role in gaming, content creation, and emerging client AI experiences. Games are becoming increasingly graphics-intensive and larger in size, leading to extended load times. Client AI applications demand swift data access to enhance the user experience. The Micron 3500 SSD directly addresses these challenges:

  • Gamers can significantly enhance their gaming experience as the Micron 3500 SSD loads even the most massive games, like Valorant, up to 38% faster. Additionally, it supports DirectStorage, a feature that further accelerates load times in compatible games.
