Century, based in Asia introduced a new device on March 26, 2024, named the "M.2 NVMe Clone BOX Bus Power USB10G" (model CMNV2U10GCP). This product allows for the direct cloning of M.2 NVMe SSDs without the need for a computer. The M.2 NVMe Clone BOX is designed with two M.2 SSD slots that accommodate Type2230, Type2242, and Type2280 SSDs, enabling the cloning of entire drives efficiently. For instance, transferring data from a 500GB SSD to a 1TB SSD can be accomplished in about 10 minutes. Beyond its cloning capability, the device can also function as an external SSD enclosure, featuring a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C interface for connectivity. It supports bus power for operation, eliminating the need for an external power supply, though it does include an auxiliary power connector to address potential power deficiencies.

Constructed with aluminum for improved heat dissipation, the clone box includes a thermal pad affixed to the interior of the lid to further aid in managing heat. The device's dimensions are 70mm in width, 118mm in depth, and 17mm in height, with a weight of approximately 210g. Scheduled for release in early April, the device is expected to retail for approximately $75.
