Lenovo Group's Executive Vice President and President of China, Liu Jun, announced at the AMD AI PC Innovation Summit that Lenovo plans to introduce a series of new AI-integrated PC products during the upcoming Lenovo Innovation and Technology Conference scheduled for April 18. This announcement marks a significant development in Lenovo's strategy to integrate full-stack AI capabilities, encompassing smart devices, AI-focused infrastructure, and solutions that are inherently AI-driven.

Lenovo's approach emphasizes the integration of AI technologies to create personal computing devices that serve as intelligent assistants. These AI PCs are expected to feature embedded personal intelligence, leveraging large-scale AI models for intuitive interaction, a comprehensive personal knowledge base, and enhanced computing capabilities through a combination of CPU, GPU, and NPU resources. Additionally, these devices aim to connect users to a broad AI application ecosystem while ensuring the protection of personal data and privacy.

The forthcoming AI PCs will be powered by the AMD Ryzen 8040 series processor, known as Hawk Point, which boasts a Zen4 CPU core and RDNA3 integrated graphics. Notably, the NPU's frequency will see a 60% increase over its predecessor, boosting its computational capacity from 10 TOPS to 16 TOPS.

Lenovo's innovation extends beyond PCs, as the company previously revealed its new AI assistant, Xiaole, designed to enhance user interaction through natural language processing. This assistant, expected to launch in April, is part of Lenovo's broader AI strategy, which includes the development of AI-enabled smartphones, tablets, and IoT devices, further illustrating Lenovo's commitment to advancing AI technology across its product portfolio.
