ELECOM manufactures a clearance LAN cable that can be routed through gaps in windows and doors with only a little amount of waterproof tape and a relay connector. The set LD-VAPFR6Ahas been announced.

"LD-VAPF6A / SV04," commonly known as "clearance LAN cable," is a Cat6A-compliant LAN cable with a flat standard and roughly 1.5 mm in thickness. Wiring can be run through the gap between windows and doors without drilling a hole in the wall.

Due to the aluminum tape reinforcement on the sections other than the connector, they are resistant to load and bending and may be opened and closed while being wired to the gaps in windows and doors. Additionally, both ends feature screw holes for cable attachment. It supports gigabit networks such as 10GBASE-T / 1000BASE-TX / 1000BASE-T, as well as PoE (power over Ethernet).

"LD-VAPFR6A / SET" is a LAN accessory that relays RJ-45-equipped LAN cables. Along with the relay connectors, a simple waterproof tape (width 20 mm x length 500 mm) is supplied in the package. Due to the waterproofing of the relay component, it can be utilized outside. It is intended to be used in conjunction with the above-mentioned "clearing LAN cable," which can be run through the window gap.

Additionally, this is Cat6A compliant and enables gigabit networks with 10GBASE-T / 1000BASE-TX / 1000BASE-T, as well as PoE.
