I feel like the kind of people who would route a cable through a door or window are not the kind of people who would buy this. It's an interesting product, I just don't see it selling well.

I feel like this is more for companies that do installations but don't have permission to drill in from the outside, or want to risk that.

But you still have to drill 4 holes to mount the thing :P

I think you're right and I can also see this being used to mount up POE cameras - slipping something like this around the edge of an overhang or soffit vs drilling a hole and pulling the cable direct to the camera.

I see it useful. As above mentioned, how many times I needed a flat cable following the edges when installing cameras or other devices, I can't remember.
