ASUS P6T DeLuxe review - X58 motherboard
So ASUS has sent us this early version of their X58 motherboards. Sexy looks, loads of features, heck this motherboard will support up to 24GB of DDR3-1333 memory, thanks to its six DIMM slots. It also has features like a Serial Attached SCSI controller to support higher-end SAS hard drives known from the server industry for power users who desire nothing but the best performance.
Next to that, it's just an amazing piece of machinery to look at. Nice black PCB, extravagant connectivity, SLI/ Crossfire compatible, passively cooled. And if you opt the P6T Deluxe OC Palm version, you'll even receive an external little LCD screen showing off the latest system info, widgets and overclocking tools at hand. Very cool.

Intel X58 Extreme DX58SO motherboard
Intel DX58SO motherboard test. This review is going to cover the basics of Intel's X58 mainboard chipset. The key features of course bringing support to QPI, triple-channel memory and Socket 1366 thus Core i7 processors. the mainboard used is Intel's reference Extreme DX58SO motherboard.
Though this is the Intel reference motherboard that shows off some really impressive performance and features, it's also a motherboard full of compromises in design. Today we take a look at it and in the coming week or two, we'll look at the X58 chipset.

Intel Core i7 920 and Core i7 965
Intel today launches their Core i7 products and x58 motherboard chipset, Core i7 as in their 7th architectural generation. A name that will catch on quickly and you'll get used to it just as quickly as well. No less then three processors are announced today in a good variety of pricing and Guru3D.com will take a look at two of them.
