Asus is set to reveal its innovative dual-mode OLED gaming monitor at CES 2024, a product that promises to enhance the gaming experience with its unique features. The monitor, known as the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP, is designed to offer versatility, with two distinct modes: a 4K resolution at 240 Hz and a 1080p resolution at 480 Hz. This adaptability caters to different gaming needs and preferences. The PG32UCDP employs the same OLED panel used in LG's 32GS95UE and HP's Omen Transcend, which is integral to its dual-mode functionality. Despite Asus's initial claim of being the first to introduce a dual-mode gaming monitor, there are other competitors in the market challenging this assertion.

The focus now shifts to which manufacturer will successfully launch their product in the retail space first, setting a new benchmark in the gaming monitor industry.
