ASUS releases Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405): Features and Specifications

ASUS has introduced the Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405), a new addition to its line of ultraportable laptops. This model, an Intel Evo Edition, is characterized by its compact and lightweight metal design, measuring 14.9 mm in thickness and weighing 1.2 kg. The device features a 75 Wh battery, which is designed to offer a longer lifespan and up to 15 hours of use per charge. The USB-C Easy Charge compatibility provides versatile charging options. The laptop is equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors, integrated with Intel Arc graphics, aiming to deliver a balance of performance and energy efficiency. The processors are designed for AI tasks, advanced graphics, and efficient power use. The Zenbook 14 OLED includes up to 1 TB SSD storage, 32 GB RAM, and WiFi 6E (802.11ax) connectivity.

Its display is a 3K (2880x1800) ASUS Lumina OLED with a 120 Hz refresh rate, offering a brightness of up to 600 nits, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and an 87% screen-to-body ratio. The device also features adaptive sync technology.

In terms of ports, the Zenbook 14 OLED includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The audio system, certified by Harman Kardon, comprises super-linear speakers and supports Dolby Atmos sound.

The laptop incorporates a quiet ASUS ErgoSense keyboard, an FHD IR camera with a physical shutter, and AI-enhanced noise cancellation for video conferencing. The Zenbook 14 OLED is designed with sustainability in mind, using up to 50% post-consumer-recycled materials and 100% recyclable packaging. It surpasses the ENERGY STAR power-efficiency standard by 50% and has been subjected to US military-grade durability tests.
