Arctic has launched the Freezer 36 CPU Cooler, an upgrade from its predecessor, the Freezer 35. The newly designed Freezer 36 is engineered to enhance cooling efficiency, reportedly reducing the temperature of Intel's Core i9-13900KF processor by up to seven degrees compared to the former model. The Freezer 36 introduces a novel mounting solution tailored for Intel's latest LGA1700 and the forthcoming LGA1851 CPU sockets. This design departs from Intel's conventional mounting mechanism by incorporating a metal frame, which ensures more consistent contact with the CPU surface, thereby improving thermal performance.

In terms of cooling capabilities, Arctic positions the Freezer 36 alongside competitive products such as the Noctua NH-D12L, DeepCool AK400 DZ Plus, and Be Quiet's Dark Rock Pro 4. The efficiency of the Freezer 36 series is attributed to the dual 120mm pressure-optimized fans and the inclusion of MX-6 Thermal Compound, enhancing heat dissipation.
