Originally released on November 10, 2023, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III" initially supported AMD FSR 2.1 and Intel XeSS 1.2 upscaling algorithms, alongside NVIDIA DLSS 3 with Frame Generation technology for GeForce RTX 40 users. The recent update extends AMD FSR 3 support to both "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III" and "Warzone," offering enhanced flexibility in gaming experience.
The hardware requirements for utilizing FSR 3 and Frame Generation. AMD recommends Radeon RX 5000/6000 series or GeForce RTX 20/30 series for Frame Generation, while FSR 3 is compatible with Radeon RX 590 or GeForce GTX 10 series onwards. Moreover, "MotorCubs RC" recently upgraded from FSR 1.0 to 3.0, bypassing FSR 2.0. The list of games supporting FSR 3 now includes six titles, with more anticipated.
Additionally, AMD plans to launch its Fluid Motion Frames technology under the HYPR-RX suite on January 24th, offering an alternative to FSR3 without requiring integration by game developers. Unlike FSR3, which is compatible with third-party GPUs, HYPR-RX will be exclusive to AMD hardware.
