Addlink has released its S93 PCIe 4.0 SSD, expanding its footprint in the storage and memory solution sector. The drive's storage capacity scales up to 4TB and it operates at a transfer rate of 7400MB/s. The S93's design, which features a 2.25mm profile, optimizes it for contemporary Gen4 Intel and AMD laptops due to its power efficiency.

The design of the S93 integrates high-density flash on a single side of the SSD, resulting in a reduced height of 2.25mm. Such a layout is apt for streamlined laptops and tight slots. Its power consumption is observed to be approximately 35% lower than comparable Gen4x4 SSDs, making it particularly suited for laptop applications. Functioning with a Gen4x4 NVMe controller and a 2400MT/s 3D TLC NAND flash, the S93's speeds measure up to 7400/6500 MB/s. It is designed for compatibility with both M.2 PCIe 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 slots. The inclusion of SLC caching and host memory buffer (HMB) support enables the S93 to deliver random read/write speeds that can reach 1,000K IOPS.

From a durability standpoint, the S93 is fortified with current technologies like LDPC ECC, advanced wear leveling, bad block management, and over-provisioning. This assures superior data preservation and longevity. The product line comprises 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB models, each backed by a five-year warranty. Given its technical attributes, the S93 is a fitting choice for professionals, gaming enthusiasts, content producers, and AI experts who rely on high-performance laptops, gaming rigs, AI-centric devices, and high-grade mobile workstations.
