Audio (Music)

Once the device has been properly configured, the audio performance of the headset is really good. I personally used a customized equalizer preset in this instance because the default sounds far too flat for my tastes; nonetheless, this is exactly what audio purists and audiophiles desire. Once you've balanced out the EQ settings and most likely saved them as a default option, the headset puts out some strong yet dynamic sounding bass, clear vocals, and overall outstanding sound reproduction, as demonstrated in the video above.

For our regular test listening suite: we start up Triggerfinger with a cover from Lykke Li's I Follow Rivers. The drummer in this band uses a bass-drum in which a hobbit could reside, comfortably even. No seriously, hobbits could live in there. It is an acoustic live session. The treble range has razer sharp compared to earlier previous models and there is less hiss, no noise. Even considering this is a Youtube recording with a fairly poor conversion bit rate.

The stereo image is quite clear and the sound is very comfortable to hear. It has a wide musical spectrum fully loaded with detailed sound really. With the configurations described above (perhaps a hint more bass and treble according to your personal flavor). Haptic feedback should be set to,low or medium.

The second song Prince, "When Doves Cry." However, there is a twist to this song, as it is sung by BLUEF3LIX. There's nothing more to it than a guitar and a voice. The headset serves its job well enough, but it falls short of being spectacular. It's possible that the video quality is that of YouTube. The stereo system performs admirably. The funky guitar is a good fit in the audio enveloppe.

Once you've balanced your chosen EQ setting and most likely stored it as a default, the outs are quite great, with sharp yet dynamic bass, clear voices, and overall funky sound reproduction. Extremely enjoyable.

Yes, Missy Elliot, it's time to get your freak on. What can I say, when I hear this music, I find it impossible to remain motionless? Missy sounds just like we want her to sound, with a terrific phat beat that complements the rhymes perfectly. It's true that the bass is a little flat, but that's something that can be fixed with a little more boom-boom-pow on the EQ. Aside from that, there are some really good melodies all throughout the audio spectrum.

We need to close with a masterpiece, so we go back in time for the final song, and we pay our respects to Adam MCA Yauch, like we usually do. We actually downloaded the Beastie Boys' Intergalactic album in FLAC format because the YouTube bitrate is such an insult - Beastie Boys - Intergalactic. We're going to use the same EQ and Surround settings as previously. We have, unsurprisingly, adjusted the audio levels to our liking, and it sounds fantastic.
