The RX 7700 XT features 48 Compute Units (CUs) and is equipped with 12 GB GDDR6 memory operating at 18 Gbps. The card has a dual 8-pin power connector and provides a boost frequency close to 2.50 GHz. Its board power is approximately 235-240W when measured.
Both the Radeon RX 7000 Series and Nvidia's comparable GPUs possess built-in AV1 hardware encoding and decoding capabilities, making them more handy for streamers.
Dark and red accents enhance the card's appearance; no LEDs are active on the card. Here, you can also see the aging 8-pin power connector header.
The card's heatsink runs throughout the PCB, with no opening on the backplate for the last fan to expel heat. The card weighs roughly 1kg and features three DisplayPorts (DP 2.1) and a full-sized HDMI port (v2.1).
The design is small, reaching almost 28cm and two slots thick. The spinners keep the product cooled down whilst not being too noisy.
