A heat spreader does not always bring the temperature down. Rather than that, it moves the heat from the chips to the PCB, distributes it more evenly throughout the module, and eliminates potential hot spots. Theoretically, this should allow better overclocking.

Neo Forza MDK5 equips the 6000 MHz CL40 DDR5 memory modules with an aluminum heat spreader with black color and white graphics/accents (triangles). It looks relatively attractive and should make this memory kit appear nice in a build. There’s a central cutout, which is quite nice, as are the different perforations on one side and the small notches on the edge on the other.

The total height of the stick is about 38 mm/1.5 inches. That’s a low-profile module, so you won’t encounter problems with air coolers. However, we always recommend double-checking whether any clearance issues won’t occur before you buy this set.

There’s no RGB lighting available.

Ok, here are the last shots of this nice memory kit. The module weighs 36 g, so the radiator seems quite light.
