Product Showcase
The RAM came in a blister pack. This type of packaging offers minimal protection against impacts but good protection against scratches. There’s a color paper behind the memory.
For example, MIT (Made in Taiwan) and Lifetime Warranty features are mentioned on the backside of that sheet. We are told that the product has good CAS timing, has been 100% tested and that the manufacturer provides technical support.
The Neo Forza MDK5 (consisting of two 48 GB modules running at 6000 MHz) has a nice look and a black exterior. PCB is black, and XMP version 3.0/AMD EXPO profiles are supported. The radiators are integrated with the PCB using an adhesive pad on each side, and dismantling them would require significant strength (or heating up with a hairdryer for a more extended period), so I did not do this. I did not recommend it either (as it would void the warranty).
The backside stickers tell you this is a 2 x 48 GB kit operating at 6000 MHz, with CL40, without given voltage (but it’s 1.3V). This should be more than enough for the typical user/gamer (it’s rather aimed at some more hardcore users), and it can come in handy for you if you process video or graphics. We recommend sticking to the preconfigured XMP profile settings for optimal performance.
